Dar Anika is a riad, a traditional town house hotel in the city of Marrakech situated at the entrance to the old Souk and close to the Djemma el Fna. It is modern in build, traditional in design and a homely place to stay.
There are 9 rooms and one suite, all differently sized and decorated. All rooms are air-conditioned and have direct dial telephones and Wi-Fi internet connection. None have TV’s or sound systems to preserve the peace of the experience. The ground floor centres on the exquisite 'marble carpet' central courtyard. Off the courtyard are the swimming pool (heated - a rarity for Marrakech) and hammam. The traditional salon is separated by picture windows allowing for air-conditioned cool in summer and a fire blazing in winter.
There is a breakfast (and sundowner) terrace on the first floor. The roof terrace has tables for breakfast, lunch and dinner, sun beds and a splendid 'Arabian Nights' tent for lounging in the shade during the day and dining or a late drink in the evenings. In the evening the whole riad is lit up with candles and on colder nights braziers are lit on the terrace
